The boys team ran to a solid 2nd place finish, only trailing Voorheesville in the final standings. Casey Gilbert led the team with a 4th place finish in 16:21. Cody Blain followed in 8th place at 17:36, and RJ Hebert finished 14th at 17:55. Alex French, Llew Palmer, Connor Hoyt and Hunter Share finished 25th, 26th, 38th and 45th for the Mountaineers.

The girls team finished in 3rd place with 78 points. Kelsey Demick finished 3rd in 20:56, followed by Ashley Rokjer in 11th at 21:54. Angie Longhi, Rachael Thomas, Tiara Greene and Karley French finished in 21st, 29th, 40th and 43rd to round out the scoring for the Lady Mountaineers.

On Friday both teams will compete in the Section 2 Championships in Saratoga, and, with any luck, at least some of the runners could be competing the following weekend in the New York State Championship race on Long Island.
