Chris’ Wish Spaghetti Dinner

October 31, 2008 By eastwickpress

The Chris’ Wish Committee is planning a Spaghetti Dinner to benefit Chris Luciano on Saturday, November 15, at the Immaculate Conception Church Hall. Chris was paralyzed from the waist down in a diving accident this summer. Dinner will be served from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Take-outs are available. The cost is $8. Dinner tickets are available at Thorpe’s Pharmacy and Upsy Daisy.

One of the Committee’s goals was to raise funds to send Chris to Project Walk (www.projectwalk.org) in San Diego, CA. It’s a boot camp designed to help people like Chris regain some movement in their lower limbs. That goal has been achieved. He will be leaving November 28 and returning home December 13.

The Committee continues to work hard. Chris still needs many things to make his life easier. A goal of the group is to get him a vehicle he can drive himself.

Keep up with Chris’ progress at www.eenable.net/chris.
