Linda K. Barnett

Hoosick Falls – Linda K. Barnett, 46, died Thursday, October 2, 2008, in Tucson, Arizona. She was the wife of Shawn Barnett of Tucson.

 

Born in Schenectady, NY, on June 7, 1962, Linda was the daughter of the late Walter “Clark” and Jean (Taylor) Thorpe. Linda attended Hoosick Falls Central School and was a homemaker all of her life. Linda was fond of her dogs, tag sales on Saturdays and photography.

Survivors other than her husband, Shawn, include her sisters, Ellen See of Tucson, Susan Bohmer and husband Bill of North Hoosick, NY, and Terry Thorpe and husband Jim of Hoosick Falls, NY, and her brother, Michael Thorpe of Camden, SC. Linda is also survived by four nieces, Erica, Cara, Mollie and Megan, and three nephews, Tim, Rick and Bobby. She is pre-deceased by a brother, Robert Thorpe, and her stepmother, Beverly Thorpe.

Relatives and friends may call at the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, on Friday, October 17, from 4 to 7 pm. Burial will be on Saturday at 9 am in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hoosick Falls. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
