The North Hoosick Fire Department will sponsor its sixth annual, free Christmas Bazaar which will he held on Saturday, December 13, from 9 am to 1 pm at the fire station on Rt. 22.
This year the Fire Department is asking area businesses and individuals to donate new or like new items for this bazaar. Cash donations are also welcome and can be sent to the Fire Department. These donations will be used to purchase new items such as clothes, toys, shoes and games for the children. Help make the holidays special for some needy families.
The bazaar is held each year to help out the needy families in the area who are not fortunate and cannot provide a nice Christmas for their children. Our goal is to put a smile on a child’s face on Christmas morning, and, with the help of the community, we can make it happen.
Anyone who would like to donate items to this bazaar can bring their items to the fire station on Rt. 22 on Monday evenings between 6:30 and 9 pm or contact Rick Ferrannini at 686-4728, Butch Conway at 686-5175 or Alan Bornt at 378-4538 for assistance. If necessary, the Fire Department will pick up your donations at your home.
