On Wednesday, November 12, at the Town Offices in the State Armory, Janet Kennedy, Executive Director, of Lakes to Locks Passage, will be meeting with Town of Hoosick Supervisor Marilyn Douglas and Village of Hoosick Falls Trustee Ric DiDonato to discuss plans to promote the historic, natural and cultural significance of the area.
Hoosick and Hoosick Falls are already a Wayspoint Community listed in Lakes to Locks Passage. Lakes to Locks Passage has been designated by the Federal Highway Administration as an “All American Road.” This Federal recognition is the “cream of the crop” of America’s historic and recreational byways, a destination for national and international travelers.
Town of Hoosick Historian Phil Leonard, Vintage Voice Director Phyllis Chapman and Louis Miller Museum Director Charles Filkins will also be attending the meeting.
