Brandon Rathbun, 14 years old, got his first deer, a very nice eight-pointer, on the first day of this year’s deer hunting season. This is his first year hunting, which he did with his father, Nettie Rathbun. who said, “I never thought that he would get one, being it was his first year in the woods, but after an hour of hunting along side his father he got his first buck.
