PVMCC News

This Saturday, November 8, at 4 pm the ceremony to dedicate the Petersburg Observation Post begins with guest speakers to include County Executive Kathleen Jimino, County Legislators Stan Brownell and Lester Goodermote and Petersburgh Town Historian Peter Schaaphok.  The annual Veterans Day Pot Luck Supper follows at 5 and entertainment begins at 6 pm with the Hill Hollow Band.   

 

On Monday, November 10, at 7 am PVMCC will celebrate the opening of the Veteran’s CafÄ.  Stop in for a cup of coffee, or begin your day with an aerobic walking workout around the Hall.  Yoga programs are on Tuesday and Thursday at 9 am.   

The newly formed Eastwick Choir under the direction of Steven Marking and Musical Director Karen Webster is accepting new members.  Please call 518-424-1089 for information.    

Crafters interested in participating in the Holiday Craft Fair on Saturday, November 29, please call 518-658-3260.   

The capital improvements are nearing completion.  PVMCC now features newly renovated accessible bathrooms, meeting rooms and a new kitchen. Our hall is available for business meetings, conferences, parties, sporting events, wedding receptions and special events. For information call PVMCC Facility Planner, Roger LeMere, at 518-658-3867.
