Ramona Barber

Hoosick Falls – Ramona Barber, 87, died Thursday, October 30, 2008, at the Resurrection Nursing Home in Castleton on Hudson, NY. She was the wife of Bertram Barber who died in 2001. They formerly lived in Hoosick Falls, NY.

 

Born on April 16, 1921, in Hoosick Falls, Ramona was the daughter of the late Walter and Myrlte (Chase) Wruck. She graduated from Hoosick Falls High School Class of 1939. Ramona worked at the Bloomfield Card Shop in Troy, NY, for many years.

Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Wall and husband John of East Greenbush, NY, her son, Jerry Barber and wife Connie of South Colonie, NY, and her granddaughter, Kate Wall.

Funeral services were Monday, November 3, at 2 pm. There were no calling hours. Arrangements were under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fund Development at the Resurrection Nursing Home, 90 North Main Street, Castleton, NY, 12033.
