Rensselaer County Veterans Breakfast

The Brunswick Elks hosted the Annual Rennselaer County Veterans breakfast on Sunday, November 9.  More than 700 meals were served to area Veterans and their families, with a special awards ceremony following the breakfast.  Twenty-five area Veterans were awarded various service medals by Congressman Mike McNulty and County Executive Kathy Jimino.

The following Veterans were honored with well deserved medals:  Robert Maxwell Jr.  William Basios, Joseph Angley, Edward Albert, Thomas Shull, John Degnan, Ellen McKnight, Dennis Davis, Joan Madigan Koch, Max Koch, Roger Haberman, Joseph Pallozzi, David Guyette, Robert St. John, William Hart, Anthony Debboli, Rudolph Broderick, Micheal McMahon, Werner Montag, Micheal Taurone and Barton Murray.  Honored posthumously were Robert Snyder, Thomas Gorman Jr., John Miller and Daniel German.

The Elks would like to thank its Auxiliary, the area ROTC, Boy Scout Troop 518, Congressman McNulty, Congressman-elect Paul Tonko, Assemblyman Tim Gordon and County Executive Kathy Jimino as well as many members of the County Legislature and the Veterans Service Agency for helping make this annual event another success.
