Ann K. Oswald

Berlin – Ann K. Oswald, 78, of Greene’s Brook Road in Berlin, NY, died on Saturday, December 6, 2008, at the Center for Living and Rehabilitation in Bennington, VT.

 

Born in Troy, NY, on August 21, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Katherine Brennan Archambeault. A resident of the Berlin area since 1966, Ann graduated from Heatly High School in Green Island, NY. She worked for the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles in her earlier years and retired from W.J. Cowee Co, Inc. in Berlin. She loved to knit.

Survivors include her children, Leonard F. and wife Amy Nicpon, Katheryn N. and husband Garry Burdick and Timothy D. and wife Tina Oswald all of Berlin, grandchildren, Shellie and husband Stas Salnikov, Courtney and husband Stephen Carr, Nicholas Burdick and Sarah Grant, Katie Nicpon and Jonathon Oswald, a great-grandson, Aiden Carr, and a niece, Sandra and husband William King of Green Island.

Following Ann’s wishes, there will be no services or calling hours. Private burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery in Troy, NY. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Berlin Rescue Squad. Arrangements are under the direction of Hall & Higgins Funeral Home of Stephentown, NY.
