On Wednesday, October 8, the Berlin Volunteer Fire Company visited Berlin Elementary School to present their annual Fire Prevention Program. Along with visiting our pre-k classrooms, the volunteer fire fighters presented two assemblies. The first assembly was for students in kindergarten through third grade. Students helped fire people put on their

gear. Afterwards, the students went outside to see the fire trucks and equipment. The second assembly was for fourth and fifth grades. In this assembly, students were picked to actually put the fire gear on with the help of the volunteer fire people. These assemblies were enjoyed by students and staff.
