Heartwarming And Head Warming

December 19, 2008 By eastwickpress

submitted by Heather Clifford

Mrs. Brownell and her Fourth Grade Knitting Club at HFCS donated 17 winter hats that they made for children in nearby Bennington.

My son’s teacher went right to work with her Knitting Club after finding out about the upcoming party for kids in foster care through the PINS Program at St. Peter’s Church.

The sizes range from newborn to teen, and each one is a work of beauty.  It’s a wonderful gesture of kindness from one child to another.  I wanted to share my pride in them and their teacher for doing such a great job and thinking of others.

Great job Hoosick Falls Elementary!  Love thy neighbors.
