According to Rensselaer County District Attorney Richard McNally the case against Dennis Murray of Bovie Hill Road, owner of Valley Hearth and Pellet, Inc. on Church St. has been adjourned until January 2009 to “give him an opportunity to satisfy his obligations.”
A spokesperson for his attorney, Charles Wilcox, said Murray is “working his hardest to pay everyone back.”
In October Murray was charged by Hoosick Falls Police with Grand Larceny and Scheme to Defraud. At that time there were 29 complaints against him. He appeared in Hoosick Falls court and was remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail. He was released on $25,000 bail.
