The Town of Hoosick and Friends of the Bennington Battlefield have received word from Santa Claus that he will be making a stop at the Barnett Homestead on Caretaker’s Road in Walloomsac on Sunday, December 14, from 1 to 4 pm. Children can sit on Santa’s lap and share their Christmas list. After visiting Santa, children are invited to stay and make Christmas ornaments and share in some Christmas treats.
The event is being sponsored by the Town of Hoosick and Friends of the Bennington Battlefield. The Bennington Battlefield State Historic Site is owned by New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and is managed by a cooperative agreement between the owner and the Town of Hoosick.
