A.D.A.P.T. Basketball Shoot Out

On Saturday, December 27, several individuals showed off their basketball 3-point shooting skills. Each contestant was allotted one minute to shoot basketballs from five separate locations around the 3-point line. The first round whittled the contestants down to three individuals in each division, 1st – 6th grade – Alex Haynes, Noah Chani and Alexis Case, 7th – 12th grade – Adam Ferrannini, Kevin Gorman and Nick Bartolata and an open division in which Rick Ferrannini, Andy Nolan and Mike Lilac were the finalists. Several tie breakers were required in the first round . A tie breaker in the 1st-6th grade division was required to determine the winner of that division. Winners, according to grouping are as follows: 1st-6th grade category – Noah Chani; 7th-12th grade – Kevin Gorman and the Open Competition – Andy Nolan. Thank you to all who participated and donated to A.D.A.P.T. It was a tremendous amount of fun. Thanks to Mike Lilac for making the gym available and Greg Fox for keeping the time. In addition, thank you to Harold McClellan, Chris LaCroix and all of the others who assisted in rebounding.
