On January 8 the NYS Police in Brunswick executed a search warrant at a residence located on Telford Road in the Town of Hoosick, as a result of an ongoing investigation into several burglaries that had occurred in the area. As a result, police seized the apparent proceeds of several reported burglaries.

Further investigation led to the arrest of two individuals who resided at the residence. Gregory S. Frank, age 40, was arrested for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd,

Stolen Property 4th. Both individuals were arraigned in the Town of Hoosick Court and remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail. Additional charges may be pending in this case.

While executing the search warrant at this residence, police recovered 16 jewelry boxes along with a large amount of loose jewelry and two rifles. It appears at this time that these individuals had burglarized numerous houses in Rensselaer, Washington and Saratoga Counties, with possible ties to Albany County and Eastern Vermont. Anyone who may have previously reported a burglary to their residence in which property matching this description had been taken, is asked to contact the agency which conducted the initial investigation in an attempt to identify any of the proceeds that have been recovered.

A complete inventory of the proceeds recovered is available on CD at State Police Brunswick. Any agency requesting further information regarding this incident and the possible identification of property that was recovered is asked to contact SP Brunswick at 518-279-4427.
