Charlotte B. Gompert

Buskirk – Charlotte B. Gompert, 87, died Friday, December 19, 2008, at the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation in Bennington, VT. She had resided on Meads Road in Buskirk, NY, with her husband, Harry B. Gompert Jr.

 

Charlotte was born on January 2, 1921, in Oakland, CA, and was educated at schools there. She was a homemaker all of her life.

Survivors other than her husband, Harry, include her daughter, Beth Burraycak of Graham, WA, her son, William Wixson of Jacksonville, FL, and four grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 10, at 11 am from the Methodist Church in Eagle Bridge, NY. Burial was at the convenience of the family at the B.H. Solomon/Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY. Arrangements were under the direction of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Eagle Bridge Methodist Church through the funeral home.
