Georgianna Raimer of Stephentown graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University at Albany in December 2008.
UAlbany awarded 535 bachelor’s degrees and 442 graduate degrees, including 289 master’s and 72 doctoral degrees during its Winter Commencement ceremony on December 7. The ceremony featured a keynote address by alumna and IBM pioneer Frances Allen, ’54, who received the 2006 A.M. Turing Award, considered the Nobel Prize in computing.
