Circle Theatre Players opens the new year with Agatha Christie’s Go Back for Murder at the Sand Lake Center for the Arts. Carla Crale (Vallis Salamanca of Petersburgh)
wants desperately to prove the innocence of her deceased mother who was convicted of her father’s murder, while Solicitor Justin Fogg (Bill Douglas of Rensselaer) feels strongly that the sixteen year old guilty verdict should stand.
In one of Christie’s greatest murder mysteries, the actors face the challenge of traveling back in time to play their younger selves as they search their memories for the truth of what happened that fateful day. In the flashback, Carla will play her mother, Caroline.
Performances are January 23, 24, 30 and 31 at 8 pm and January 25, 31 and February 1 at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $16. Reservations can be made at 518-674-2007, ticketleap.com and slca-ctp.org. The Center is located at 2880 NY 43, one half mile east of the blinking light in Averill Park.
