The Petersburgh Public Library invites everyone to an open house on Wednesday, January 21, from 4 to 6 pm to celebrate the completion of renovations and the opening to the public of the lower level of the Library.
Save Energy, Save Dollars Workshop
Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) of Albany County is offering a free two hour workshop entitled Save Energy, Save Dollars. This class will be held at the Petersburgh Public Library, 69 Main Street, Petersburgh, on Tuesday, January 13, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Advanced registration is required. This workshop provides low-cost and no-cost ways to save energy and reduce energy bills. It links consumers with programs that provide energy efficient improvements with subsidies, low-interest loans or free services to qualifying households.
Workshop participants receive a free energy kit with outlet/light switch gaskets, outlet caps, rope caulk, a tube of caulk, a shrink fit window insulation kit and a refrigerator thermometer.
This workshop is conducted by Cornell Cooperative Extension as part of the EmPower New York Program with funding from NYSERDA.
