Virginia L. Chirasello

North Hoosick – Virginia L. Chirasello, 54, died Monday, December 15, 2008, at the Glens Falls Hospital. She had resided on Junction Road in North Hoosick, NY, with her significant other Skip Chambers.

 

Born on May 8, 1954, in Troy, NY, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Agnes (Morgan) Lockrow. Virginia was a homemaker. She enjoyed bird watching, animals, gardening and country music, especially Keith Urban and Elvis. She most enjoyed the time spent with her family, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Survivors other than Skip include two sons, Dale J. Lockrow and Chad W. Lockrow, four sisters, Barbara A. Reynolds and husband William of Eagle Bridge, NY, Sandra J. Lockrow, Cindy L. Dewey and her husband Kevin and Lisa M. Lockrow all of Hoosick Falls, NY, her brother, Randall K. Lockrow of Hoosick Falls, grandchildren, Devon and Ariana Lockrow, several nieces and nephews and Skip’s parents, Don and Marilyn Chambers of Salem, NY.

A Memorial service was held on Saturday, December 27, from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls at 2 pm. Relatives and friends called at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 pm until the start of the service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter through the funeral home.
