You Gotta Hear This! Presents, Inc. announces that rehearsals for the Eastwick Community Choir will begin on Tuesday, February 24, at 7 pm in the Petersburgh Veteran’s Memorial Community Center, 71 Main Street, Petersburgh. We will meet every Tuesday at 7 pm except Tuesday, March 31. Rehearsals will begin with warm-ups and sight singing exercises. Singers of any age may join, children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
The conductor of this community chorus is Steven Marking; the accompanist is Karen Webster. The concert repertoire will comprise Renaissance motets, selections from Randall Thompson’s Frostiana, spirituals and humorous songs.
The Spring Concert is slated for Friday, April 8, at 7 pm at the Petersburgh Veterans Memorial Center. Cost for participation is $50 per person, limited scholarships are available.
