Join The Parade

Plans are in full swing for the 2009. Hoosick Falls St. Patrick’s Parade and Irish Festival on Saturday, March 14. The parade will kick off from Wood Park at 1 pm. The Irish Festival will begin right after the parade at the New York State Armory.   Four bands have agreed to return for the parade so far – The Galloway Gaelic

Pipes and Drums, Fyfe’s and Drums of Olde Saratoga, Excelsior Drum Corps and The Hoosick Falls High School Band. The public is welcome to enter floats or march in the parade. Prizes will be awarded to the top three floats.   

 

 

At the Irish Festival the Who’s Your Patty Band will return along with the popular Miss Campbell’s School of Irish Dance. There will be bagpipers and great corned beef sandwiches from Helvi’s Catering.
