Make Eco-Friendly Market Bags With Quilt Group

February 6, 2009 By eastwickpress

Create your own mesh eco-bag. These easy to make versatile bags are suitable for marketing, as beach bags, sports bags or whatever. They are sturdy enough for marketing, roomy enough for bulky things and pliable enough to fold up easily.

Cost of the class is $25 which includes  instruction and a kit of all materials needed to make one bag. Participants need basic sewing skills and a sewing machine in good working order.

The class  will be taught by members of the Binding Friends Quilt Group  on Saturday, March 14  (snow date March 21),  from 9 am to noon at the Everett Wagar Senior Center, Rt. 2, Grafton.

To register for the class or for more information, call Jeanne at 658-9761.  The registration deadline is March 7. Register early as space is limited.

The Binding Friends Quilt Group meets the second Thursday of each month  at 1 pm at the Everett Wagar Senior Center. New members are welcome.
