On Tuesday night, both the Berlin and New Lebanon boys volleyball teams took part in the Section II volleyball tournament. The #1 seeded Coxsackie-Athens hosted the #8 seed Berlin to kick off Sectional play. It did not take long for the Mountaineers to be eliminated as they lost by scores of 25-4, 25-7 and 25-14.

The Tigers were seeded #6 and took the short trip to play at #3 Chatham. Chatham had no problem taking care of New Lebanon as they won three straight by scores of 25-9, 25-12 and 25-11. Seniors Dan Padrick and RJ Walsh led the Tigers. Padrick had 3 kills, while Walsh had 2 kills and 2 blocks. New Lebanon finished the season 6-8 overall and 6-4 in the CHVL.
