On January 6 the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Petersburgh Fire District No. 1 held their organizational meeting. The following appointments were made:
• Chairman – Terry Neaton
• Vice-Chairman – Don Paulson
• Secretary – Christina Lamphere. She will also serve as the elected Treasurer.
The other three commissioners are Keith Snyder, Steven Waytkus and Michael Jones. Michael Jones was re-elected to a five year term in December.
The Eastwick Press was named the official newspaper.
MBT Bank was named the official bank.
The commissioners voted to complete the update of the Town buildings’ alarm systems.
All meetings are open to the public. Meetings will be held on the third Tuesday of each month at 7 pm at the Fire House.
