Music & Art Cafe

 

The Petersburgh Veterans Memorial Community Center (PVMCC) will hold its next Music & Art Cafe on Friday, February 20, from 8 to 10 pm featuring  “Doc & Bill.”  Dr. Oakley Frost of Bennington, VT, and Bill Cottrell of Hoosick Falls will play New Orleans style jazz, standards and gospel.   Dancing is encouraged!  Desserts are available.  Admission is $5 per person, $8 per couple and $12 per family.  

Interested artists will meet at 7:45 to discuss techniques for drawing using the book, The Natural Way to Draw  by Kimon Nicolaides. Copies of the book are for sale. 

Musicians wishing to play at future M&A Cafes, please call  518-658-3260.   

Veterans Cafe

The Veterans Cafe is open from 7 to 9 am for coffee and baked goods as well as for aerobic walking.  Participants are bragging about the pounds they are loosing!  The “goodie elf” is still leaving delicious treats…Thank you whoever you are!   

Yoga

Yoga is on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9 am.  

Voice And Music Classes

Classes for Voice and Musicianship are at 6 pm and the  Eastwick Chorus is at 7 pm with Steven Marking beginning on Tuesday, February 24.  Call 518-424-1089 for information.
