St. Mary’s Academy Girls Basketball Continues A Winning Season

The St. Mary’s girls basketball team has won four of its last five games, bringing their record to 7-2.

Arlington. Anna Restino and Alice Hayden led the way with eight points each as the Eagles defeated Manchester on January 30. In the season’s most exciting contest so far the Eagles fell to undefeated Mt. Anthony by two points. In that game Grace Delurey’s team high fourteen points, including 4 three-pointers, highlighted a spirited comeback. 

 

Alice Hayden scored 20 points in consecutive games leading the Eagles to victories over Dorset and Manchester. 

Adding to the total team effort in these past games are eighth-graders Nicole St. Onge, Julia Baker and Rachel Jones and seventh-graders Olivia Schneider and Ashley St. Onge.
