Donald J. Mulready

Hoosick Falls – Donald J. Mulready, 73, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at the Bennington Health & Rehabilitation Center in Bennington, VT. He had been a resident there for several years. Don formerly resided in Hoosick Falls, NY.

 

Born on January 1, 1936, in Hoosick Falls, he was the son of the late Thomas and Charlotte (Patterson) Mulready. Don graduated from Hoosick Falls High School in 1954 and served in the United States Air Force in London from 1954 to 1958. He was formerly employed at the Eagle Square in Shaftsbury, VT as a laborer.

Survivors include his wife Patricia (Jepson) Mulready of Hoosick Falls, a daughter, Deborah Mulready of Hoosick Falls, four sons Donald Mulready Jr., Jeffery Mulready and Mark Mulready all of Hoosick Falls and Timmy Mulready of North Hoosick, NY, his sister, Marie Van Alstine of Latham, NY, a brother, Jack Mulready of Scotia, NY, nine grandchildren and a great-grandson.

A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Saturday, March 14, at 9:30 am from the Immaculate Conception Church on Main Street in Hoosick Falls. Burial followed the Mass at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hoosick Falls. Relatives and friends called at the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls on Friday from 6 to 8 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bennington Health and Rehabilitation Center through the funeral home.
