Stephentown – Helen Olga Aubrey Cogan, 99, died on February 4, 2009, at Hillcrest Commons in Pittsfield, MA.
She is survived by her daughter Isabel and son-in-law Neil Krebs, Ph.D., P.E., who maintain the family farm in Stephentown, her grandson and his wife, John and Amy Krebs, and two great-grandchildren, Sarina and Jacob Krebs.
A Memorial Service for Helen will be held on Saturday, March 7, at noon in the Hall & Higgins Funeral Home, 457 NY 43, Stephentown, officiated by Rev. Susan Schultz. The family will accept visitors at the funeral home starting at 11 am. Interment will be in the spring in the Stephentown Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Stephentown Memorial Library or Community Hospice of Rensselaer County in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 9, Stephentown, NY, 12168.
