Spring Session Of The Eastwick Choir Begins

You Gotta Hear This! Presents, Inc. announces that rehearsals for the Eastwick Community Choir will begin on Tuesday, March 24, at 7 pm at the Petersburgh Veteran’s Memorial Community Center, 71 Main Street, Petersburgh. The Spring Concert is slated for Friday, June 5, at 7 pm at the Petersburgh Veterans Memorial Center. We will meet every Tuesday at 7 pm Rehearsals will begin with exercises geared toward vocal efficiency and development. Singers of any age may join, children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. 

 

The Conductor of this community chorus is Steven Marking, the accompanist is Karen Webster. The concert repertoire will comprise Renaissance motets, selections from Randall Thompson’s “Frostiana,” spirituals and humorous songs. The cost for participation is $50 per person or thirty dollars with an agreement to sell at least six tickets at $5 each. Limited scholarships may be available.
