US Census Tests Will Be Given In Hoosick Falls

March 27, 2009 By eastwickpress

Town of Hoosick Supervisor Marilyn Douglas recently announced that arrangements have been completed with the U. S. Census Bureau for testing for employment opportunities for the 2010 Census to be given at the Town Offices in the New York State Armory on the following Tuesdays in April –  April 7, April 14 and April 28. The testing sessions will occur at 10 am and 2 pm daily for approximately 20 people.

Douglas said, “The US Census is recruiting for temporary, part time census takers for the 2010 Census. Census taker jobs are excellent for college students, retirees and anyone who wants to earn extra money while performing an important service for their community.  We are pleased that the US Census Bureau in Albany is willing to come to our area to administer the test.”

For more information, including qualifications, applications and practice tests, please visit the Census Bureau website at www.census.gov/2010census jobs.  There is also a link to the site from the Town of Hoosick’s website www.townofhoosick.org.
