Zema Wins Second MVP Award

For the second straight year Berlin’s Chris Zema was named co-MVP of the Central Hudson Valley League.  Zema, whose 22.5 points per game this season ranked him second in all of Section II, shares the award with Loudonville Christian’s Cullen Overholt. Zema scored 450 points this season and averaged over 3 rebounds per game and almost as many assists.  

Also from Berlin, Brent Demick was named a Second Team All-Star.  Demick averaged 10.4 points per game and just over 6 rebounds per game.  Casey Gilbert was named an Honorable Mention All-Star, averaging 10.4 points per game and just over 2 assists per game.

NL Tigers Named

For New Lebanon, Sophomore Bryan Potter was named a Second Team All-Star.  Potter averaged around 14 points per game this season.  Also for the Tigers, Jake LaBlanc was named an Honorable Mention All-Star.
