Sand Lake artist Sally McCracken is displaying her paintings and framed prints at the Petersburgh Public Library through the end of April. McCracken’s beautiful watercolors include still life, landscape, abstract and fun, bright nursery themes.
McCracken attended the University of Minnesota where she was able to study art and begin to show her work. She received a BS in Art and Psychology from SUNY and was active in PTA and Community Outreach Programs in Cortland, advocating to bring the arts to children and families. To learn more about her and her work, you can also visit her website sallyamccracken@verizon.net.
In “The Lower Gallery,” there is a group show of works by a variety of Petersburgh artists. The Petersburgh Public Library is always interested in hearing from artists who would like to display their work. If you would like to have an exhibit, please let us know at 658-2927.
