Berlin Elementary School To Host Imagination Celebration

April 10, 2009 By eastwickpress

The Berlin Elementary School’s Shared Decision Making Team is sponsoring an Imagination Celebration on Friday, April 24, which will also be included in this year’s Family-A-Faire on Saturday, April 25. All year students in all three elementary schools have worked on special projects to contribute to the Imagination Celebration, and this event will showcase all of them.  In order for every elementary student to see all of the displays, the students from Stephentown and Grafton will travel to Berlin Elementary on April 24.

Some of the projects that will be on display for both the Imagination Celebration and Family-A-Faire include; a New York State Museum display focusing on the Five Tribes of the Iroquois Nation, designed by our fourth-graders, Earth Day projects submitted by Grafton Elementary School, as well as written reports, technology displays, ladybugs, lions and more from students at SES and BES at various grade levels, pre-k through grade 5.

Families, students and the community are invited to attend both the Imagination Celebration and Family-A-Faire on Saturday, April 25, to view displays, participate in activities, take part in the Coffee Can Auction and enjoy our staff’s and students’ hard work! On Saturday, activities are from 10 am to 3 pm, with drawing for the famous coffee can auction beginning at 2. Mark your calendars now and plan on joining us for this student-centered celebration of education and fun!
