The Berlin Central School District, in conjunction with Capital District Beginnings, is proud to offer an integrated Summer Program specifically designed for children who will be entering kindergarten in September, 2009. This pre-k to kindergarten transition program will strengthen kindergarten readiness skills and provide students with six weeks of enrichment in the areas of English language arts, mathematics and technology.
This program is taught by certified teachers and is housed at Berlin Elementary School. The “Early Stars Summer Program” will begin on Monday, July 6, and run four days per week, Monday through Thursday, until Thursday, August 13. This program is offered to all Berlin School District students who meet the criteria for entering kindergarten for the 2009-2010 school year, age 5 on or before December 1, 2009.
