JoAnne Harrington

White Creek – JoAnne Harrington, 54, of Lincoln Hill Road, White Creek, NY, died peacefully, surrounded by family and loving friends, on April 18, 2009, at the Rivers Edge Community Care Home in Bennington, VT. She resided on Lincoln Hill Road with her husband John Harrington.

 

Born on July 18, 1954, JoAnne was the daughter of the late Doris (Eddy) Sprague and Carleton J. Sprague Sr. of Eagle Bridge, NY. She graduated from Cambridge Central School in 1972. JoAnne was proud of being a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and with her treasured cat “Dakotah.”

She leaves her husband, John, whom she married on July 15, 1983, her father, Carleton Sr., her son, Marc Carroll and wife Angelia of Portales, NM, three grandchildren, Brandon, Ayla and Jayden Carroll, also of Portales, her sister, Donna Sprague, her brother, Carleton J. Sprague Jr., both of Bennington, and her special sister-in-law, Sandy McCart. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to either the Karen McGovern Memorial Fund or the Second Chance Animal Shelter through the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street, Hoosick Falls, NY, 12090, who are handling the arrangements.
