The New Lebanon Book Group has selected Elizabeth Strout’s novel Olive Kitteridge for its upcoming discussion on Thursday, April 9, at 7 pm at The New Lebanon Library, 550 Route #20, New Lebanon.
The novel binds together thirteen rich, luminous narratives through the presence of one larger-than-life, unforgettable character, Olive Kitteridge, a retired schoolteacher who deplores the changes in her little town but who doesn’t always recognize the changes in those around her.
Elizabeth Strout is the author of Abide with Me, a national best-seller.
