April 3, 2009 By eastwickpress

Join the staff of the Hoosick Falls Youth & Community Center during April vacation as they travel into the pages of three of their favorite children’s storybooks. “Stepping into the Story: Spring Camp 2009” is open to students in kindergarten to sixth grade.

On Monday, April 13, the program will center around The Wizard of Oz as participants spend the day tracing Dorothy Gayle’s famous journey. On Tuesday, April 14, take a journey to Never Never Land as campers fly into the pages of Peter Pan. Alice in Wonderland rounds out the three-day camp on Wednesday, April 15.

The camp will run from 8 am to 3 pm each day. Snacks will be provided. Children should “dress to mess” and bring a bag lunch. To register and for additional information, contact Aelish Nealon at the Hoosick Falls Youth & Community Center, 518-686-9050.
