Join noted nature writer and ecologist Tom Wessels for presentations both indoors and out on Sunday, May 31. The program starts with an all-you-can-eat brunch at the beautiful Grafton Inn at 9 am. Wessels will present a slide show based on his book Reading the Forested Landscape, A Natural History of New England. We will then caravan to the Dyken Pond Environmental Education Center where Wessels will lead a 2 hour interpretive hike, with time for questions and for book signing and/or purchase.
The price is $40 and includes the brunch, slide show and interpretive hike. Members of the Friends of Dyken Pond get a $10 discount. Pre-registration is required, as space is limited. Contact Jim Bonesteel at jim@jbonesteel.com or 518-766-5354.
