Erin Shea Receives Bausch & Lomb Science Award

Erin Shea, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Shea of Hoosick Falls, is this year’s recipient of the University of Rochester Bausch & Lomb Honorary Science Award. This award is given to an outstanding junior who has demonstrated academic excellence in the sciences. Each award winner who applies to the University of Rochester is automatically considered for a four-year scholarship.
Erin was inducted into the National Honor Society in her sophomore year. She has been a member of the Yearbook Club, Student Council, and Key Club and has been Treasurer of the class of 2010 for the past two years. Erin has also been a member of the soccer and basketball teams for three years.
Erin plans to attend college in the fall of 2010.
