Kay McMahon Receives Two Awards From The NENY PGA

Kay McMahon of New Lebanon was named Teacher of the Year 2009 by the Northeastern New York Professional Golfers’ Association of America (NENY PGA) and also received the President’s Plaque for extraordinary and exemplary contributions and achievements in player development for the growth of the game. The 2009 NENY PGA Special Award Winners were being recognized among their PGA peers for their special achievements and were announced at the NENY PGA section’s Spring Meeting that took place on Monday, April 20, at Columbia Golf & Country Club in Claverack, NY.
McMahon, a PGA member since 1986 and an LPGA member since 1977, is the Director of Golf Instruction and owner of eduKaytion golf, noted as a premier golf education company located throughout the Berkshires and New York.  McMahon is also a Past National President of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Membership, was the 1995 LPGA National Teacher of the Year, has been recognized by leading golf magazines in various categories as a Top Teacher and most recently in 2006 and 2008 was a nominee to the LPGA T&CP Hall of Fame.
