Lady Mountaineers And Lady Tigers Get #5 Seeds

Both the Berlin and New Lebanon softball teams were seeded fifth in this year’s softball Sectionals.  Berlin is seeded #5 in the Class C tournament while New Lebanon takes the Class D tournament #5 seed. The Lady Mountaineers will take on the #4 seed Warrensburg on Thursday.  The game will take place in Colonie at Veeder Park at 3:30.  The Lady Tigers will take on the #4 seed Argyle.  Their game will be played on Friday at 5 pm at the Adirondack Sports Complex.
If Berlin wins, they would advance to take on the #1 seed Duanesburg on Monday at 3 pm.  If New Lebanon wins, they would advance to take on #1 seed Germantown on Tuesday at 3:30 pm.
No Sectionals For Baseball
On the baseball side, neither Berlin nor New Lebanon is headed for Sectionals. New Lebanon is missing the sectionals for the first time in the last few years, while Berlin is missing the tournament for the second straight year.
