Megan McEachron Receives George Eastman Young Leader’s Award

Megan McEachron, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rick McEachron of Hoosick Falls, is this year’s recipient of the University of Rochester George Eastman Young Leader’s Award.  This is awarded to an outstanding junior who has shown strong leadership experience at school and in the community, has high grades, takes challenging courses and has had extensive involvement in extracurricular activities.
Megan was inducted into the National Honor Society in her sophomore year, and she is a member of Key Club, Student Council, Yearbook Club and Drama Club.  She is the Chief Editor of the Yearbook Club, and she has also been a member of the soccer and basketball teams.
Megan plans to attend college in the fall of 2010.
