Imagine a Champagne and Rose Body Treatment served with champagne and a  rose or a Chocolate Decadence Body Wrap, complete with chocolates and champagne or a Seaweed Body Masque or a European Facial. Now imagine getting such a treat in Hoosick Falls. These treatments, plus other facials, hair removal, manicures and pedicures are just some of the services offered by Kimberly Revet, owner of Nirvana Day Spa @ Artistic Hair Design, 53 Elm St.

Kimberly, a 1990 HFCS graduate, served in the Army for five years. Since then she has lived and traveled all across the country. Now she has returned to Hoosick Falls. Kimberly said she has a corporate spa background. She has been doing manicures and waxing for 15 years. She is a graduate of the Aesthetics Science Institute, and she is licensed to do medical grade chemical peels. She is pleased to be associated with hair stylist Terry McGuire.
They are going green, said Kimberly. All their skin care, hair care and nail care products are 100 percent vegan and organic. Their hair color products are 90 percent natural and 90 percent biodegradable. Kimberly carries a full line of hair and body creams.
Other Items
In addition to all the body care services and products, Kimberly carries all natural olive oil and locally produced maple syrup and honey. She also carries a line of sterling silver and semiprecious stone jewelry.
All of their customers enjoy complimentary juice, tea, coffee, wine, fresh fruit and pastries whenever they come in for tanning, hair care or manicure.
Open House
Kimberly opened for business on February 12. She said she has been “shockingly busy. Ten times busier than I thought I would be.” To introduce more people to the services she and Terry offer, she is holding an open house from Friday, May 15, through Sunday, May 17.
