Vocalist Kevin McGuire, The Richard Cherry Trio and special guests will perform the songs of Noel Coward and Cole Porter in a cabaret evening at Hubbard Hall this Saturday, May 16 at 8 pm.
The performance will celebrate the run-up to the Theatre Company at Hubbard Hall’s production of Coward’s scintillating comedy, Present Laughter, which opens the following week for a three-week run (May 21 – June

7).
TCHH artistic director McGuire, who will star in Present Laughter as a megalomaniacal leading man, is a veteran cabaret performer with recent engagements at The Troy Music Hall and the Cambridge Hotel as well as Hubbard Hall. Prior to establishing The Theatre Co. at Hubbard Hall as one of the region’s finest theatre companies, McGuire enjoyed a celebrated career in musical theatre, playing lead roles on Broadway, National and International tours of Les Miserables, The Phantom of the Opera, Jane Eyre and The Secret Garden.
The Richard Cherry Trio includes accompanist Cherry with Tim Patrick on bass and Rich LaPlante on drums.
Tickets for the cabaret are $20 for non-members, $18 for members and $12 for students. For information and to purchase tickets, call 518-677-2495.
