Red Poppies For A Good Cause

Each year the American Legion Auxiliary members stand in local towns nationwide and distribute red poppies. These flowers date back to the first World War. The money collected on these days goes to support our veteran and youth programs for our local soldiers and kids. As you walk through town on May 21 and 22 this year take the time to get a poppy and donate to a great program. Please honor our soldiers, past, present and future on this Memorial Day. You will see our volunteers at Key Bank, Trustco and Grand Union from 9 am to 5 pm. Thanks you for supporting your American Legion Auxiliary Unit 40.
