An Invitation From The BCS Junior Honor Society

June 12, 2009 By eastwickpress

It is a great honor to be part of the National Junior Honor Society. It is our responsibility to recognize and appreciate our teacher, Mr. Robert C. Miller. Mr. Miller is retiring this year after 40 years of teaching English /Language Arts in the Berlin Central School District.
You may have known him from his large collection of autographed pictures.  He has collected these over many years from his students.  These were writing projects.  You may have also known him if your son or daughter has had him in the past.  There are very few teachers who live and teach in the same district. Mr. Miller has worked in the Berlin Central School District for 40 years while being married and raising children here. And so, he has always been  at school functions such as proms, concerts, plays, dinners, etc.   We are proud to have such a loyal and determined teacher who has accomplished so many things.
So, please join us, Shauna A. Hoffman, Sadie J. Hoffman and our fellow National Junior  Honor Society Members on June 15 to honor Mr. Miller. We will be together as a group between  12 and 2 pm.  We will have an award presentation ceremony during that time.
You can contact the Berlin Central School District for further information at 518-658-2515. To contact the director of NJHS (National Junior Honor Society), Mrs. Audrey Hall Vanderhoef, call the 518-658-2515 ext. 243  or contact her by email at AVanderhoef@Berlincentral.org.
