Community Singing In Wood Memorial Park

June 26, 2009 By eastwickpress

On Friday nights at 7:30 pm on July 3, 10, 17 and 24 Wood Memorial Park in Hoosick Falls will be humming and jamming and crooning as “Our Community Sings” in a series of free concerts presented by the local performing arts organization “You Gotta Hear This!”
Area singers will present great music from a variety of genres, including jazz, folk, rock, gospel and show tunes. Steven Marking and Dottie Cross will lead the ever popular sing-a-longs. Local eateries, including Big Moose Deli, Helvi’s Catering, Pizza Bella and Schoony’s Pizza & Deli will be offering tasty treats for sale.
Bring the family, meet up with your friends and neighbors and have a picnic in the park. Support local talent and sing along to your favorite melodies, all for free!
Make Wood Memorial Park your destination every Friday night in July, weather permitting. For more information, call 518-424-1089 or visit http://www.yougottahearthis.org/.
