Mountaineers Head To Track State Qualifiers

On Saturday, May 30, at Fort Plain High School, the Berlin track team had athletes advance to this week’s, two-day State Qualifier meet at Johnstown High School. Casey Gilbert led the way, winning the 200 and 400 meter races and placing second in the discus. Alex French finished third in the 3200 meter race. Rachel Ferris took third place in the 400 meter hurdles, and Kayleigh Corrado took third in the 200 meter race. Ashley Rokjer also advanced in the 200 meters for Berlin.  Both the boys and girls teams finished sixth overall in Class C.
